Reporter Scott Hammers dropped in on Career Day at Deschutes Edge Charter School, where he says kids learned "how a toilet works, how to use a Taser and that aspiring musicians should really, really think about keeping their day jobs."
Seriously though, the middle school students were able to explore -- with the help of professionals who volunteered their time -- medicine, truck driving, dentistry, law enforcement, cosmetology, you name it.
"I think career day is a really good inspiration for everyone here today," said seventh-grader Daniella Sailors.
