John C. Jones
June 18, 1933-Nov. 16, 2007
Redmond resident John C. "Pete" Jones, 74, died Nov. 16, 2007 of complications from diabetes. No services will be held.
Mr. Jones was born June 18, 1933, in Moore, Idaho, to William A. and Zena Jones. He enjoyed playing basketball in high school in Arco, Idaho and graduated in 1951. After high school Mr. Jones served in the Army in Germany, and later came home to earn a bachelor's degree from Idaho State University in Pocatello, majoring in business. He married Nancy J. Nickerson Oct. 14, 1956 in Mackay, Idaho. Mr. Jones was employed as an accountant for Westinghouse Atomic Energy Corporation for over 40 years and retired in 1993. He lived in Pocatello for 48 years and moved to Redmond in 2001.
Mr. Jones was a member of the Masons and the Elks in Pocatello and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife Nancy Jones; daughters Patti Leibbrandt-Tipton of Idaho; Trudy Hoffman of Iowa City, Iowa; and Jennifer C. Boyce of Bend, Ore.; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made toward diabetes research.

Buster Simpson
Sept. 2, 1914-Nov. 17, 2007
Buster Simpson, 93, died Nov. 17, 2007. No services will be held.
Mr. Simpson was born on Sept. 20, 1914.
Survivors include son Vonrae Simpson of Redmond, Ore.; daughter Rebecca Cartwright of Redmond, Ore.; and five grandchildren.

Jeanette Baumann
Sept. 12, 1915-Nov. 19, 2007
Redmond resident Jeanette Olive Baumann, 92, died Nov. 19, 2007. Services were held Nov. 26 at Pilot Butte Cemetery.
Mrs. Baumann was born Sept. 12, 1915, in Portland, Ore. to Martin and Olive (Youngren) Olson. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Portland and attended a business college there. She married Edward Baumann on May 2, 1942 in Portland. Mrs. Baumann worked at the main branch of the US Bank in Portland and after retiring in 1973, moved to eastern Oregon. She moved to Bend in 1990 and to Redmond in 1998.
Mrs. Baumann was a member of Eastmont Church while living in Bend and enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, cross stitching and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her son David of Gresham, Ore.; her daughter Deborah Jones of Redmond, Ore.; and five grandchildren.

William (BJ) Fisher
Jan. 9, 1963-Nov. 21, 2007
Redmond resident William Joseph (BJ), Fisher Jr., 44, died Nov. 21, 2007. Services were held Nov. 24 at City Center Church in Redmond.
Mr. Fisher was born Jan. 9, 1963, in Glendora, Calif. to William Joseph Fisher and Elizabeth Gibney. He attended Weston-McEwen High School and received an associate's degree at Clackamas Community College. He married Lori Schuchardt on June 3, 1989 in Portland, Ore. Mr. Fisher was a building contractor (B.J. Fisher Construction) and a retired volunteer fireman for Redmond Fire Department. He was chairman of the board for Redmond Area Park and Recreation District and a member of City Center Church.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and time with family and was involved in missions and men's ministry.
Survivors include his wife Lori Fisher of Redmond, Ore.; parents Bill and Sue Fisher and Liz and Gary Gibney; son William Joseph Fisher III; daughter Heidi Marie Fisher; brother Michael Fisher; and sisters Crista Scronce, Joanie Rogers, Heather Greene, and Kristin Anderson.
Memorial contributions may be made to City Center Missions Ministry or BJ Fisher Children Educational Account at Bank of the Cascades.
