Services: A Public Rosary and Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with burial following at Juniper Haven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Prineville Conference.

Margaret Rose French

Judy Ann Hewitt Kratz
Feb. 25, 1946 - Feb. 26, 2009
Judy was born February 25, 1946, in Salem, Ore. She was raised in Redmond, Ore. by her mother, Bea Besel, and stepfather, Ted Pillsbury, and graduated from Redmond Union High School as Valedictorian and a member of the honor roll in 1964.
Judy married her true love, Russell Kratz, in Redmond where they lived a wonderful 40 years together. Russ and Judy were childhood friends since the age of five. Judy loved her husband, family and eight grandchildren.
She loved working outdoors, cooking, and the Oregon Coast. Russ and Judy raised their four children in Redmond. They worked for RL Coats Construction Co., and owned JR Flagging. After leaving the construction business, Judy opened a daycare center, "Grandma's House," as she loved caring for children.
Judy was loved deeply by her husband, Russ; children, Tracie Jones, Ted Kratz, Christy Horn and Rusty Kratz; mother, Bea; stepfather Larry Besel and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother Jimmy Hewitt and stepfather Ted Pillsbury.
The love she has given to her family will be truly missed. May her love live forever in our hearts. Judy touched so many and was the kindest person to all she met, she will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life service was held Friday, March 6,at Redmond Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Bank of America for the Russell Kratz family.

Frank Junior Hedges
October 29, 1926-March 4, 2009
Frank Junior Hedges was born in Monmouth, Oregon to Earl Hedges and Merle Tittle. He married Marilyn Grosvenor on Christmas Day 1948.
Frank was educated at Turner High School and graduated from Willamette University in 1951. He served in World War II as a Navy medic.
Frank was a grocer in the Willamette Valley and Redmond, Ore. for 45 years. He retired from the grocery business in 1988.
Frank had a great sense of humor and loved to tell a joke. He enjoyed the daily crossword and sports, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Marilyn of Terrebonne; sons, Dan (Jan) of Redmond, Rich (Jill) of Hood River, Tony (Jill) of Gresham, Terry (Michelle) of Grande Ronde and six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his son, Jerald Mark.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, yet to be determined.
