Elizabeth ‘Betty’ A. Vincent Aldous
Nov. 16, 1916 - May 2, 2010
Elizabeth A. "Betty" Aldous of Redmond died on Sunday May 2, 2010, at the age of 93 years. She was born in Madras, Ore., on Nov. 16, 1916, to Edwin E.
and Rachel (Howard) Vincent. She lived at the Cove for a time and raised mules for the Army. She moved to Walton, Oregon, where she met and married Leslie Aldous on June 28, 1935. She lived in Wendling, Ore., for awhile, then raised hay and cattle in Seneca, Ore. After that they moved to Springfield where she was the bookkeeper for her husband in the trucking business. They missed ranch life so they bought a ranch in Bend and commuted for several years back and forth to Springfield. In her later years, she moved to Terrebonne where she was involved in 4-H leathercraft, raising horses, bowling and painting. She lived there for 50 years and it was her favorite. After her husband Les died in 1994, she moved into Redmond.
Survivors include daughters; Sherry and husband, Grant Wilkinson of Florence, OR; June and husband, Chet Mitchell of Terrebonne; Myra and husband, Chris Skidgel of Granite, OR; sons, Darwin and wife, Velda Aldous of Rio Linda, CA. Marvin and wife, Toots Aldous of Terrebonne, and Loren and wife, Debra Aldous of Terrebonne. There are 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at the Dayspring Christian Center in Terrebonne with burial to follow at the Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery. Fred Jay Stevens
Dec. 7, 1928 - April 20, 2010

Fred Jay Stevens, age 81, passed away on April 20, 2010, at Mesa Good Shepherd, Mesa, AZ.
He was born December 7, 1928, in Portland, Oregon, to Art and Myrtle Stevens. He was a graduate of University of Oregon Dental School, 1958. He practiced dentistry in California and Oregon. He retired in 2000, after 42 years of dentistry.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce, three sons, one daughter, nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was loved and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Nicholas J. Pickering, Jr., of Redmond

Memorial services for our beloved son were held on Sunday, May 2, 2010, at the Redmond Veterans of Foreign Wars.
