Barbara Ann Langeliers
January 10, 1942 - November 11, 2010
Barbara Ann Langeliers, of Redmond, passed away November 11, 2010. She was 68. Barb was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Barb was born in Terrebonne in her grandparent’s farmhouse on January 10, 1942. She met her husband, Ralph Langeliers,
when they were in the third grade. They married at the age of seventeen on July 31, 1959, and lived their life together in Terrebonne and Redmond. Barb is survived by her husband of 51 years; her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Gary Thrasher of Redmond, OR; her son and
daughter-in-law, Mark and Sharon Langeliers of Redmond, OR; her five grandchildren, K.C. & T.J. Thrasher, Kaitlin Ferrando, and Jordyn and Chase Langeliers; and her three great-grandchildren, Anna, Caden, and Jack. Barb never met a person that she couldn’t carry a conversation with and she had a strong and tenacious outlook on life. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, contagious laugh and giving spirit. Barb will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life open house will be held at Ralph Langeliers' home at 702 SW 55th Place, Redmond, Oregon from 2-4 pm, Saturday, November 20, 2010.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Hospice or the Humane Society of Redmond

Wilburn Arthur Phillips
Jan. 20, 1924 - Nov. 4, 2010
Art was born in O’Donnell, Texas, to Lester G. and Willie (Waller) Phillips on January 20, 1924. He was a longtime resident of Central Oregon before moving to Tucson, Arizona, in 1994. He passed away November 4, 2010, of natural causes.
He leaves behind his wife, Carol, who resides in Tucson. They were married in May 1988. He was married to Phyllis Margaret Lusthoff, February 11, 1947. She preceded him in death August 5, 1987.
He leaves three daughters and two stepsons, Sharon & Butch McPheeters of Culver, OR; Sandra Heffner of Portland, OR; Susan & Bob Rhines of Keizer, OR; Christopher and Victoria Sager of Geneva, Switzerland; and Bradley and Jackie Sager of San Diego, CA.
He also had ten grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Timothy, Kirk, Kraig, Kevin, Tonya, Brenda, Ian and AJ, and was also blessed with 18 great-grandchildren who loved him dearly.
His only sister, Frances (Carter) Barnes of Redmond, and numerous nieces and nephews survive him. His parents and four brothers, Hardie, Arnold, Lloyd and Raymond Phillips preceded him in death.
He proudly served in the United States Navy in WWII and worked many years in road construction before retiring in 1986, from Jack Robinson & Sons in Bend. He owned and operated his own landscaping maintenance business in Redmond until moving to Tucson, Arizona.
Art was a wonderful man who loved his family very much. He was a great friend to everyone that knew him. He always had a smile to give for everyone and will be truly missed by all. He was a member of Hope United Methodist Church in Tucson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Nov. 26. at Redmond Grange Hall in Redmond, OR.
