Peggy was born February 27, 1952, to Donald and Ruth Jurgensen in Seattle, WA.
She graduated from Highline High School in 1970.  She was crowned Queen Thunderbird the 11th of the Independent Order of Foresters Court 1111.  As queen, she served as a Seafair Princess and appeared in the Seafair Parade.  She competed in the Miss IOF pageant on June 14, 1970.
Peggy married Harold Majxner on August 18, 1984, at his mother's residence in Bend, Ore.  Peggy resided in Redmond, Ore/, but had previously lived in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho and Arizona.  She always loved Central Oregon and wanted to remain there.
She loved cooking for her friends and family. She was always looking for the next great recipe. Other hobbies Peggy enjoyed were gardening, crafting and reading. Perhaps her biggest passion was card making.  She had a gift for creating unique, special cards to give to those dearest to her. Peggy had a very loving heart and cherished spending time with her family and friends.
