Mary Lucille Kuchs
July 30, 1921 - August 10, 2012

Mary Kuchs passed away peacefully August 10, 2012, in West Linn, from Alzheimer’s disease. Mary was born July 30, 1921, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Otto and Della Roster. She grew up in California, and attended San Jose College. She and her husband, Joseph, were married 49 years. They had two children, Arlene and Charles.
In 1951, the family moved to South America. Mary and her husband lived in Chile and Peru for 29 years, where Joe was a metallurgical engineer and she was a teacher and principal.
In 1980, they returned to the United States for retirement and lived in Central Oregon. Mary was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening, painting and needle pointing. Mary’s son, Charles, and his wife, Kristi, live in West Linn with her grandsons, Karl and Kyle. Her daughter, Arlene, lives in Glendale, Arizona, and granddaughter, Mara, lives in Morenci, Arizona, with great-grandson, Justin. Jim McNamara, her nephew, lives in Crooked River Ranch.
At her request no services will be held.

Tony Ray Earp
Nov. 23, 1953 - Aug. 15, 2012
Tony Earp passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, in Redmond, Ore., from cancer.
Tony was born November 23, 1953, in Redmond, to Grover and Alice Earp. He grew up in Redmond and graduated from Redmond High School in 1973.
Tony worked for many years with his uncle at Earp's Repair, and was a life-long auto mechanic.  He also helped his dad, Grover,  work on sound systems at the Deschutes County Fair Grounds.  
Tony loved hunting, fishing and had a real passion for finding Indian arrowheads all around Central Oregon.
He is survived by his father, Grover; his sister, Pam Sloan; a son, Trevor Earp; a daughter, Darcy Hammond; and four grandchildren.
Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Earp in 2004.
A graveside service was held Aug. 21 at the Redmond Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Redmond.
Autumn Funerals, in Redmond, is in charge of the arrangements.
