Samuel Angelo DeLeone
July 5, 1930 - October 21, 2013
Samuel Angelo DeLeone, 83, of Bend, OR, passed away on October 21, 2013, from congestive heart disease.
The Rosary was held 6:00 p.m, November 5, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Redmond, OR. A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on November 6, at St. Thomas Catholic Church.
Samuel was born in Abbington, PA, on July 5, 1930. He graduated from Northeast High School in Philadelphia, PA, and continued on to receive a BS from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
He founded The DeLeone Corporation in 1971,  manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels.
Samuel DeLeone is survived by brothers, Carmen and Francis; children, Gina DeLeone, Connie (DeLeone) Whitney (husband, Kal), Mike DeLeone, Sam DeLeone, Paul DeLeone (wife, Debra), Theresa (DeLeone) McGrath (husband, Rex), Dominic DeLeone (wife, Nicky), and Danielle (DeLeone) Hebener (spouse, Phill); 16 grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews], and other family and friends.
Samuel DeLeone was preceded in death by parents, Dominick and Rose DeLeone, sisters, Anne and Mary, and brother John.

Vera Mecham Cowing
Dec. 17, 1920 - Oct. 24, 2013
  Vera Emma Mecham Cowing, 93, of Nampa, passed away peacefully Thursday October 24, 2013, in a Nampa care facility.  She was born Dec. 17, 1920 to Marion and Mabel Mecham in Utah, and later moved with her family to Oregon.  
 She married Tom F. Cowing.  They made their home in Redmond, Oregon where they opened a business called Redmond Heating and Sheet Metal, operating it for 36 years.  
 After 50 years of marriage Tom preceded Vera in death.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers,  Ershel and Leland Mecham; sisters,  Ardella Jones and Hellen Mace; and by a great- grandson, Zachary Peiffer.  Vera is survived by her daughters,  Marie (Jim) Dahlen, Shirli Laughton, and Fran (Dave) Rowe; 10 grandchildren; 45 great- grandchildren; and 4 great- great-grandchildren.  
 Two years ago Vera moved to Nampa to be close to her family.  Her family would like to thank the staff at Family Life Memory Care for the gentle, loving attention they have shown Vera.
 Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 29, in the LDS Chapel, Nampa, ID.
