KIDS PROGRAMS 

Preschool Parade Storytime -- Stories, songs, rhymes, crafts to develop early literacy skills. Age 3-5. Wednesdays • 10:15 a.m. • In Spanish at 11:15 a.m.

Listos para el Kinder/Ready for Kindergarten in Spanish: 0–5 yrs.  Interactive stories with songs, rhymes and crafts. Tiempo interactivo con cuentos, canciones, rimas y manualidades. Wednesdays • 11:15 a.m.

Mother Goose & More -- Participatory music with books, rhymes and bounces. Age 0-2. Thursdays • 10:15 a.m.

Animal Adventures -- Live animals, stories, crafts with High Desert Museum. 3+ years Monday, April 4, 18, 10:15

Rockie Tales Puppet Show -- Puppets help children learn about their world through laughter and stories. Age 3-5. Monday, April 25, 10:15

Pajama Party Storytime -- Evening storytime with songs, rhymes, crafts and PJs. Age 0-5. Tuesday, April 12, 6:00 p.m., Spanish at 6:45 Fiesta de Pijamas/Pajama Storytime in Spanish. EDADES 0–5. Use su pijama para una noche de cuentos, rimas y manualidades. Tuesday, April 12  • 6:45 p.m.

Fizz! Boom! Read! -- Stories and science with hands-on experiments. 3+ years. Friday, April 15, 10:15

Art in the Redmond Library -- Redmond library will be open late to join the downtown Redmond businesses in the Youth Art Walk. Friday, April 15, 4-8 p.m.

FAMILY PROGRAMS 

Family Block Party: LEGO® Universe at Your Library -- Read! Build! Play! Join other builders and a gazillion Legos. All ages. Saturday, April 9, 12-2

Beverly Cleary's 100th Old Fashioned Birthday Party -- Come celebrate Author Beverly Cleary as she turns 100 years old! Thursday, April 14, 4-5:00 p.m. All ages welcome! 

El día de los niños/El día de los libros - Day of Children/Day of books -- Celebrate children of different cultures, books and stories. Games, food, crafts and more! Celebraremos a los niños de diferentes culturas, libros y cuentos. All ages welcome. Wednesday, April 26 • 5–7:00 p.m.

Piñatas! -- Decorate your own piñata.  All ages welcome! Vengan a decorar sus piñatas yllenarlas de dulces. Saturday, April 30 • 10:30 a.m.

TWEEN/TEEN PROGRAMS

Teen Advisory Board -- Design library programs, meet new people, lend your voice to library projects. Wednesday, April 13, 2 pm

Make – Piñatas! -- Decorate your own piñata, then keep it or destroy it! Ages 12-17. Wednesday, April 27, 1:30-3:30

Art at the Redmond Library – April through May -- High School Student Art Show featuring artwork by students from Redmond High School, Ridgeview High School and Redmond Proficiency Academy. Special exhibit Lauren Jackson, original watercolor protraits in the Silent Reading Room.
