New Early Learning Center to play host to family festival

From the Redmond School District:

Redmond School District is set to open the new Redmond Early Learning Center next school year for all of Redmond’s in-town kindergarten students.

To celebrate, the district is hosting an Early Learning Family Festival on Saturday, June 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hugh Hartman Campus in Redmond.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the new Early Learning Center and register for kindergarten.  Families and children can explore fire trucks, vehicles and “Things That Go!” in the transportation exploration zone. There will be food and hands-on activities for kids up to 6 years of age. The event is free and open to the public.

Redmond School District is so excited to host this new event to welcome and get to know our Redmond families with young children!” shared Desiree Margo, Redmond Early Learning Center Principal. “We look forward to meeting our kindergarten and pre-kindergarten students and their families. We are also excited to meet families with babies and toddlers! Our goal for the center is to build strong relationships earlier in a child’s life. This event is just one opportunity to begin building what we know will be wonderful partnership with Redmond families!”

The Redmond Early Learning Center will offer kindergarten for all of Redmond's in-town students and a limited number of pre-kindergarten students through grant and partnership opportunities.
