City committee and commission seats open

CITY OF REDMOND SEEKS APPLICATIONS FOR OPEN POSITIONS ON CITY COMMITTEES AND COMMISSIONS

The City of Redmond is seeking applications to fill upcoming vacancies on city committees. It is also seeking applications for youth ex-officio positions. Youth ex-officio positions were established in 2014 to encourage youth involvement in city business and to create an opportunity for them to voice their concerns and ideas on community issues.

The following committees and commissions are seeking to fill open seats: 

Airport Committee
3 positions w/terms expiring 2020
1 youth ex-officio position w/term expiring 2017

Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee
Residency: Urban Growth Boundary (UGB)
7 positions w/terms expiring 2018 & 2020
1 youth ex-officio position w/term expiring 2017

Budget Committee
Residency: City Limits & Elector
2 positions w/terms expiring 2019
Youth ex-officio position w/term expiring 2017

Downtown Urban Renewal Advisory Committee
Residency: NONE
4 positions w/terms expiring 2019
Youth ex-officio position w/term expiring 2017

Historic Landmarks Commission
Residency: Urban Growth Boundary (UGB)
