Mayor Endicott to speak at biz expo

  Redmond’s Mayor George Endicott will present his 2017 State of the City address at the US Bank Central Oregon Business Expo and Job Fair Luncheon Wednesday, April 19, at the Deschutes Fair and Expo Center. The annual State of the City address will review Redmond’s recent achievements and challenges throughout the previous year and outline the mayor’s goals for the coming year.


   The presentation will highlight the City’s financial stewardship, AAA bond rating, and the numerous annual awards for financial reporting as one of the keys to the City’s continued success. The Mayor will also review the diverse services provided to the more than 27,000 residents by strong city departments working together to meet the high demands of our growing community. In addition, he will discuss current and upcoming projects ranging from infrastructure, parks, and public safety to long-range planning efforts and the City’s preparation for the influx of visitors expected for August’s solar eclipse.

   Luncheon Registration: The 19th Annual Central Oregon Business Expo and Job Fair will take place Wednesday, April 19, 2017, and is the area’s premier business networking event. The luncheon presentation will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m, is $17 per person and RSVPs are required.
