It may feel like “a hard knock life,” but Central Christian School’s cast of Annie Jr. will remind you to smile because “the sun will come out tomorrow,” when they present the musical April 26 and 27.

Annie Jr. is based on the classic comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning musical by Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin.

Directed by Luke Valenti, Whitney Freudenburg, and Jasen Hatten, the musical follows spunky orphan Annie as she escapes from the Depression-era New York City Municipal Orphanage run by cruel Miss Hannigan to search for her parents and eventually finds a home with billionaire Oliver Warbucks.
