A Terrebonne truck driver has been named as one of two people killed in a crash last week east of Sandy, according to an Oregon State Police news release.

A 2012 Honda Accord, driven east by Ryan Reyna, 28 of Sandy, drove for unknown reasons into the westbound lanes of Highway 26 around 4 a.m. June 29, striking a commercial truck hauling wood chips, driven by Brian Sheridan, 49, of Terrebonne, police said. Sheridan’s truck went off the road and came to rest in some trees, catching fire, police said.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, and no one else was in either vehicle, police said.
