An SCP Redmond hotel guest room window looks out over downtown.

SCP Hotel Redmond reopened for business Friday, May 15.

The historically renovated hotel in Downtown Redmond is open for business under these hours:

Provisions Market: Open daily from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Rooftop: Open Wednesday-Sunday from 4 p.m.-10 p.m. (Reservations only).

Seating for both Provisions and The Rooftop will meet with the state and county’s required social distancing. Take out, curbside pickup continues to be offered; also available on DoorDash.

“At SCP, the health and safety of our guests and team members remains our number one priority,” according to a press release. “In response to COVID-19, we are doing everything we can to build upon our already high standards of cleanliness. New and enhanced cleaning policies and procedures have been added to focus on the safety and wellbeing of our employees and guests.

“Our guests will see increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting throughout the property, including all high-touch surfaces, including rails, door handles and elevator buttons. Prominently placed hand sanitizer stations also have been added throughout all public areas and entrances.

“Our team members will wear protective masks and gloves.”

The hotel has also implemented extensive employee training to include:

  • Remote and curbside check-ins, as well as checkouts, for our guests to reduce the need for direct interaction;
  • Social distancing in public areas, including the lobby and dining areas;
  • Implementation of enhanced food safety and hygiene protocols for both Provisions and The Rooftop.

“Our policies will continue to evolve as needed to ensure we are meeting guidance and information shared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as state and local authorities,” the release said.

SCP Hotel embodies these core values — personal wellness (Soul), social good (Community), and the environment (Planet). It has extended their cancellation policy to ensure flexibility with bookings. Cancellation fees are waived until May 31.
