After reaching the softball quarterfinals with a walk-off 6-5 first-round victory against La Salle, Ridgeview fell in the quarterfinals for the second consecutive season.
The Ravens (23-3) lost 8-3 against Pendleton May 25, rallying after the No. 1 Buckaroos scored the game’s first eight runs. Ally Henry, one of five freshmen starting for Ridgeview, hit a two-run double in the sixth inning, which was followed by a home run by Lorena Vasquez in the seventh.
Two days earlier, the Ravens fought back from two-run deficits in the sixth and seventh innings before Vasquez drove in Marley Sargent to give the Ravens the victory against La Salle in the seventh inning.
