Several Ridgeview and Redmond high school teams took home academic all-state honors from the Oregon School Activities Association this spring.

The highest sports finish overall came from the Ridgeview boys golf team, which also finished sixth at the state tournament. The Ravens finished third in Class 5A with a 3.58 grade-point average. The Redmond girls golf team actually had a higher GPA (3.7) but finished tied for eighth.

The highest overall GPA for a Redmond spring sports team went to the Ridgeview tennis team at 3.76.

Despite having a young team, the Panthers finished tied for fourth in 5A with a 3.48 grade-point average. Ridgeview softball, which won the Intermountain Conference and reached the state quarterfinals, tied for ninth academically with a 3.62 GPA.

Redmond’s girls track team also finished ninth, with a 3.68 GPA.

In music competition, Ridgeview finished third in band with a 3.63 GPA and 10th in choir with a 3.35 GPA.
