Ridgeview senior soccer player Isaac Grusy is the recipient of the Central Oregon Soccer Officials Association’s annual Gregory Scott Rivers Memorial Sportsmanship Award.

Grusy received the honor because of his “exemplary sportsmanship, leadership and play on the soccer field” in the 2018 season, according to a news release. Other nominees for the award, which considers senior boys and girls, were Central Christian’s Josh Bruce, Redmond’s Alexa Martin and Crook County’s Emma Hehn. Like Grusy, they were all team captains.
