Trail cleanup planned: Friends and Neighbors of the Deschutes Canyon Area has scheduled an Earth Day cleanup at the Steelhead Falls Trailhead near Crooked River Ranch from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release. The stewardship project to celebrate Earth Day allows volunteers to choose which type of work they want to do, including trail and campground cleanup, eliminating invasive weeds, closing user-created trails and collecting boulders for use on trail restoration. Adult softball leagues: For ages 18 and up. Sign-up for Redmond’s co-ed recreational and competitive adult softball leagues will take place through Friday. The season runs from May through mid-August, with games at the High Desert Sports Complex. The cost is $610 per team for the competitive league and $310 per team for the recreational leagues. Swim lessons: Cascade Swim Center is offering a variety of swim lessons for ages 6 months to adults, as well as all-ages adaptive swim lessons. Bring your own boat kayaking: For all ages. Kayaking enthusiasts can practice in the Cascade Swim Center Pool from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday for a $5 drop-in fee.

Easter Bunny swim: Bring your own waterproof basket to the Easter Bunny swim and underwater egg hunt from 1-3:30 p.m. Saturday at Cascade Swim Center. The cost is $3.50 for adults, $2.50 for children and $1.50 for senior.
