Male athlete of the week

Bryce Wobbe, Redmond track — The senior won the junior varsity high jump at a four-team April 10 meet in Bend with a 5-foot, 6-inch leap.

Female athlete of the week

Ruby Gates, Ridgeview track — The senior won the 1,500 meters at an April 10 meet at Summit with a time of 5 minutes, 31.78 seconds.

Game of the week

Boys golf, Intermountain Conference Meet 1 — Behind medalist Isaac Buerger, Ridgeview took the first leg of a series of IMC championships. The Ravens total of 346 edged out The Dalles, while Redmond shot 421 to finish fifth of sixth teams.


April 9

Boys golf

Ridgeview (346) was first at Intermountain Conference Meet 1 by three shots over The Dalles. Redmond (421) was fifth in the six-team event at Indian Creek in Hood River. Ridgeview’s Isaac Buerger (74) was the medalist. The victory gave the Ravens 10 points in the first of four meets, with The Dalles second at seven.

Boys track

— Ridgeview, with 11 points, was third in a three-team meet at Summit, which the host Storm won with 85 points. League rival Crook County was second, with 49 points.

— Redmond, with 35 points, was third in a quad meet at Mountain View, which the host Cougars won with 110 points.

Girls track

— Ridgeview, with 32 points, was second in a three-team meet at Summit, edging out Intermountain Conference rival Crook County by a point. Summit won with 82 points.

— Redmond, with 23 points, was fourth in a four-team meet at Mountain View. Bend won with 158 1/2 points.

April 15

Boys golf

Ridgeview (333) finished sixth, and first among IMC teams, and Redmond (397) was 11th in the 13-team Raven Rumble at the Eagle Crest Ridge Course. Summit (297) was first.

Girls golf

Ridgeview (403) was second and Redmond (423) was third at the tournament at Meadow Lakes in Prineville, which Pendleton (375) won. Elizabeth Roundtree (93) of Redmond had the third-lowest individual score, while Logan Dietz (95) led the Ravens.
