Redmond teams will see several new coaches on the sidelines during the 2019-20 school year.

At Ridgeview, Nic Sedor will take over the girls soccer program, while Alicia Love will coach the girls basketball team.

Sedor was a former college soccer player at Corban University in Salem and has coached at his alma matter as well as West Salem High, according to a news release.

Love was the varsity assistant coach for the Ridgeview girls the last two seasons. She also has coaching experience at Concordia University in Portland, where she played college basketball. The Mountain View graduate has also coached at Aloha and Milwaukie high schools. According to the news release, she has recently been improving her coaching knowledge and experience with AAU teams at Three Peaks Performance in the Bend area.

They replace Kyle Chown and Shan Hartford, who led the Ravens to the postseason in soccer and basketball, respectively, the last two seasons.

After search process, Redmond High named Scott Lee, a former coach at Mazama High in Klamath Falls, as its boys soccer coach.
