Wrestling

Ridgeview, with 132 points, finished second in the nine-team Central Oregon Officials Association Tournament in Bend. Mountain View was first with 132 points. Ridgeview defeated Culver, giving the Ravens victories over the 2019 Class 2A and 3A (La Pine) champions in the season’s first week.

Redmond, with 244.5 points, finished second in the 23-team Tyrone S. Woods Invitational in Oregon City, which Sprague won with 316.5 points. Kagen Lawrence (120 pounds), John Downing (132 pounds) and Austin Carter (182 pounds) each won their weight classes.

Bring your own boat kayaking: For all ages. Kayaking enthusiasts can practice in the Cascade Swim Center Pool from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 22 for a $5 drop-in fee.
