Youth tennis clinic: For ages 4-18. State title-winning Redmond High tennis coach Nathan Saito, who has more than 20 years experience, teaches the program, which is designed for beginners to seasoned veterans. Youth volleyball leagues: For third through sixth graders: The five-week recreational league teaches team and individual fundamentals. Teams play 6-on-6 with a shortened net, with practices twice a week and games on Saturdays at local schools. Games are played Sept. 14-Oct. 12. The cost is $65. Deadline to register is July 19. RiverQuest: For third-fifth graders. The free class features guest speakers and exploring areas of the Deschutes River watershed to see how it works and impacts lives. The third session, on Fireman’s Pond or Shevlin Park, is from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, with students being dropped off and picked up at RAPRD Activity Center. Preregistration is required. Junior golf clinic: For ages 8-12. The four-day junior golf program at Eagle Crest Resort includes drills, games and instruction for all skill levels. Eagle Crest provides clubs, if needed.
